Interlibrary loan form (PEB)
If this is your first interlibrary loan request, please check the terms of use at the end of the following form.
-
The interlibrary loan (PEB in french) allows a user to request documents (books, articles, chapters, thesis) that are not present in the library collection and that can't be purchased. This request is sent to library in France and abroad..
Large documents are loaned according to the rules of the library that owns them. Smaller documents (articles, chapters) are sent as physical copies.
You have to be a member of the UTT Library to be able to request such a loan.
How long does it take?
The average time period for a document to arrive is 4 to 10 days when it comes from a french library, longer if it comes from abroad.
Terms of use
The library that owns the documents defines the rules of their use, wether they can be borrowed and for how long or only be consulted on site.
However, copies of articles or chapters are yours.
The average loan duration is 2 to 3 weeks. Restitution of the documents is mandatory at the end of this period, whether they have been used or not. In case of theft, loss or degradation, you must purchase a new version of the document to the benefice of the owner.
Documents reception
You will be informed by eMail when your documents arrive at the library.
To borrow and return the documents, you need to go to the PEB office from 9 AM to 6 PM.
