Putting a book on hold
You can request that we put a book on hold for:
* documents with standard loan conditions (blue label)
* documents unavailable at the time of the request (borrowed, ordered,…)
You can put up to 10 books on hold. You can check your request status on your account page on the library website.
Specific conditions apply to laptops. You need to complete the following form .
To put a document on hold:
* Log in to your account on the library website
* Search for the book you wish to request on the online catalog.
* Open the book description.
* Click on : «Put on hold»
You will be informed by email when the document is available. It will be put on hold for 2 days for students and 7 days for university staff.
After this period, if you didn't come to borrow the document, it will be made available for anyone.
Renew your loans
You can renew your loan:
* if the book has a standard loan condition (blue label).
* between the day you borrow the book and the date you should return it. You cannot renew after the due date.
* while you are still a member of the UTT. You cannot renew for a date further than the end date of your university subscription.
To renew your loans:
* Log in to your account on the library website
* Check your current loans
* Under the document(s) you wish to renew, click on "Renew my loan".
The renewal is automatic and the new due date is available on your "Current loans" page.
Be careful! Your renewal request may be denied if another person has requested your book. In that case, you will have to return it to the library.
